It's been 2 seasons how and he has yet to play a game.  what is the deal?

I never understand why people do this. If you don't like people bashing the coach, and there is no prior mention of him at all in a thread, why would you bring it up? To stir the pot because secretly you enjoy it? Come on.

With Eldemire, I kind of worry about him. I mean when was the last time he was healthy for more than a couple of months? Late 2008/early 2009? This from a guy who, let's face it, was drafted highly because of his raw skills. He still needs a ton of work with discipline, especially at the plate. Now 2 years, well check that 5 years, are down the drain since high school and he will be put in low A at best next year. Next year will be a make or break year for him.

He was released by the Phillies last month and recently signed by the Lake Erie Crushers of the Independent League.

Kind of surprised by this. Former 6th round pick. I know he had injuries but I thought he had potential. Surprised no one else was willing to take a shot on him.
