Just read on line that Mike Schmidt has stage 3 skin cancer.  He has had chem and radiation.  We were in Athens for the same 4 years and I have always admired him as a player.  He thinks he is going to be OK.

Today, it's Bills QB Jim Kelly in the news fighting an aggressive form of oral cancer.  This disease is the great equalizer and has to be overcome.  It's sad to see icons of my generation laid low by something they never saw coming.
