Checking ball scores today, I noticed Marc Krauss hit a full count pitch over the center field wall for his 1st major league homer. (And maybe he's not done, it's only the 4th inning. ) Congratulations Marc!

Well I couldn't find any video of his homerun yet, but I did find the video of his first MLB hit at least.  Such a simple swing, kind of reminds me a little of Sean Casey.

Krauss had his best game of his career so far with two hits, including his second home run and second double of the season, against Oakland on Friday. Both hits drove in a pair of runs, but Houston still lost 12-6.

He's only hit .196 so far, but his playing time has increased. He started all three games of this weekend's series, but only had one other hit.

Marc hit a solo home run, his third of the year, in a 6-3 loss Thursday. He's definitely showing power with 3 HRs in 63 plate appearances, but his average still a few ticks under .200.

Krauss rejoined the Astros on Sept. 4 and is 6 of 19 since with two doubles and 2 RBIs.
