The Bobcats are 7-14 this season in the MAC, going 1-2 in every single series. Only Toledo, Northern Illinois and Ball State dominated in the two wins, meaning that the other series could have gone either way.
I'm looking at this season and 12-33 is pretty bad, but maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel? I'm also not sure if the team is better now than at the beginning of the season, or if the MAC as a whole is bad this season.
Anyway, it doesn't take a math wizard to figure out that 2-1 makes a ton of difference over 1-2. At least in getting a win in every series, the team is learning that they can compete with any team in the MAC.

I never thought I'd see the day when Buffalo has the best record in the MAC.
4-2 in the last 6 MAC games could still make the tournament. Even at 3-3 we might have an outside shot. That would be a nice building block for next year.

Another 1-2 weekend. True consistency.

Absolutely unbelievable how consistently not good we were this season in the MAC. Finish the year 9-18 with all nine series finishing 1-2.
Finished the year 14-39, which is obviously bad, but the staff has to be given a year grace period. Need to see significant improvements next year.

Hopefully our new staff can overcome the fact that they are starting from scratch building relationships with Ohio high school coaches and summer leagues and have recruiting success.....quickly. The geography of this hire certainly still has me scratching my head . I am hoping that these guys can evaluate talent, and recruit !
