Great chance for the Bobcats to start their season over, and turn things around with nine straight games at Bob Wren!  Six of these games are in the MAC, and a hot streak could set the tone for the future of Bobcat baseball.
The weather is getting better, our team has a chance to turn the season around, time to grab a bag of peanuts
and go watch some baseball.  I'll save you a seat in the sun!!  Go Bobcats !

I would like to see 5-4 in the next 9 games.

Probably depends on the spacing of the games.  Our Friday-Saturday lineup looks pretty solid, that Sunday slot and the mid-week by committee is a real crap shoot.  But with a good space in there, I think we can make some hay.

We would have to win the 2 Carbone specials - EKU and Morehead State. Akron is probably the worst team in the MAC so hopefully we can win 2 of 3. Then maybe we can go 2-2 against NIU and Marshall. These are some soft teams we are playing in the next 9 games.

One win down, with Ohio beating EKU 10-3 tonight. Very impressive considering Colonels came to Athens not just on a four-game win streak but having scored 69 runs in their 5 previous games in April. Their final score Sunday against Morehead State was 30-14 (yes, I'm posting a BASEBALL score), so even if the transitive property doesn't always apply to sports, you do have to like our chances against Morehead...

4-4 homestand, but 2-4 in the MAC.  Not good.  Growing pains.
