As a former teammate and close friend, I felt obligated to share with this group that Jake passed away on July 16. For those who haven't followed the program closely, Jake is the all time saves leader and was a key piece to the 2017 MACC team, shutting the door 3 times in 4 games that tournament including the final out. He was the ultimate teammate and competitor and one of the finest Bobcats I've known. He loved Athens and loved being a Bobcat.
